This policy concerns the personal data that
DoYouBuzz SAS processes as
data controller, particularly in the context of using the public website
showcase.doyoubuzz.com.
It does not cover data managed on the Showcase platform. For these specific processing activities,
DoYouBuzz acts as a data processor, and it is our clients who determine the purposes, legal bases, and information communicated to candidates.
These two frameworks are therefore distinct and clearly separated in this document.
1. Data controller
For data collected directly by Showcase (public website, administrator accounts, billing…), the data controller is:

2. Data we process
2.1. Data from the public website
- Technical logs (IP address, pages viewed, timestamps).
- Data submitted via forms (contact, demo, help).
2.2. Data necessary for using the Showcase service
- Information from administrator accounts created by our clients (name, email, role).
- Data related to billing and the contractual relationship.
- Communications with the support team.
This data is limited, proportionate, and related to the operation of the service.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Your data is processed to:
- Ensure the operation of the service (contract execution).
- Maintain platform security (legitimate interest).
- Produce anonymized usage statistics (legitimate interest).
4. Retention periods
- Technical logs: 24 months maximum.
5. Sub-processors and recipients
We use service providers necessary for the operation of the service (hosting, technical support, emailing).
They act strictly according to our instructions and have no independent use of your data.
The updated list of our sub-processors is available upon request.
6. Candidate data processed on behalf of our clients (processor role)
When the Showcase platform is used by a company to manage its skills portfolio, DoYouBuzz acts exclusively as a data processor, in accordance with Article 28 of GDPR.
Our clients determine:
- the purposes and means of processing,
- the information communicated to candidates,
- retention periods,
- how GDPR rights are exercised.
If you are a platform user and wish to access the privacy policy that applies to your data, you can log into your Showcase account with your credentials, go to the "My Account" section, then click on the "Terms of Service" link.
7. Exercising your rights
You have the following rights: access, rectification, deletion, restriction, opposition, portability.

8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures: encryption, logging, access control, backups, regular security testing.
9. Transfers outside the EU
Some of our sub-processors are located outside the European Union. In such cases, we ensure they have appropriate safeguards (Data Privacy Framework, Data Processing Amendment, etc.).
10. Updates
This policy may be modified to reflect changes in the service or regulations. The last update date appears at the top of the page.
